Application

The closing date for applications for the summer semester 2024 is February 1st, 2024.

The application deadlines are the 1st of February for the following summer semester and the 31st of July for the following winter semester. Moving in or out takes place at the beginning of the university semester.

Who decides about your application?

A committee consisting of current residents and the Heimleitung (house leadership) will determine which applicants will be offered a room. After the committee has made its decision, selections are made by the flats having vacant rooms. It is thus not possible to apply for a specific room. Needless to say, your religious, confessional, ideological and political beliefs as well as your sexual orientation will not affect your application in any way. The house aims to have an international resident population of about thirty percent.
